Mrs. Nikki Rasnick, a familiar face at RCS, taught students in Studio Art how to create a Poured Painting. She brought in examples of her work and then taught the lesson for several class periods. Students drew a design, outlined with hot glue, mixed colors of paint in a cup, and poured the paint on their canvas. It's actually a bit more detailed than that, but through the process, students made fantastic works of art! Some of the artworks were on display at the High School Art Show at Bethel Woods. Thank you, Nikki, for teaching students this different way of painting. More photos can be seen on our Facebook page.

Congratulations to Daniel Aiello and the Class of 2023. #RoscoeCSClassOf2023

Mrs. Rasnick visited the elementary classrooms with the baby chicks and Mr. Juron visited the elementary classrooms with the baby ducks before they went home. Both the ducks and chicks were hatched at RCS.
