Dear RSC Community,
It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Ms. Lynn Wachter this past weekend.
Lynn was a Spanish teacher at RCS from 1989 through 2007, and after retiring from teaching she served on the RCS Board of Education from 2009 to the present.
Lynn was a very dedicated board member and a huge supporter of all RCS student events and activities. When she was able, Lynn attended almost every school function and the vast majority of home and away sporting events. The school board will decide on what will happen with Lynn’s seat on the board at its next meeting on Tuesday.
Lynn had a kind heart and will be deeply missed by the RCS school community.
