On a yellow to brown gradiant reads Rockland Central School District news

Dear Rockland Central School District Community,

We are excited to share that the Rockland Branding Work Group has been established!

This group will help guide one of the most visible and meaningful parts of the merger transition – the selection of our new school mascot, colors, and logo. The responses we received from both Livingston Manor and Roscoe exceeded our expectations. We are grateful for the community’s enthusiasm and support.

Selection Process

To ensure the process was fair and inclusive, members were randomly selected from defined stakeholder groups. The goal was to ensure equal representation from Livingston Manor and Roscoe, with balanced representation from students, staff, parents/families, community members and alumni.

Work Group Members

The following individuals have been selected to serve:

  • Students – Aidan Roycroftt, Andrea Bush, Andrew Potosek, Allison Froehlich, Ben Johnston, Clara LeRoy, David Huezo-Pineda, Emma Gaebel, Gavin Thomas, Grace Ward, Leah Ladenhauf, Logan Schmeiser, Patrick Gorr, Vincent Hicks

  • Community/Alumni Representatives – Cheri Niforatos, Gwen Schantz, Melissa Hess

First Meeting

Wednesday, May 28
Livingston Manor Auditorium
6:00–7:30 PM

Work Group members will collaborate with the transition team and branding specialists to gather input, review ideas, and ultimately help shape the visual identity of Rockland CSD.

If you were not selected, thank you for your input and willingness to serve. There will be many opportunities to contribute as we continue this exciting journey.

Together, we are shaping the identity of Rockland CSD – and we are proud to do it with you.

Sincerely,
John Evans, Superintendent
Rockland Central School District
