Dear Rockland CSD Families, Students, Staff, Alumni, and Community Members,

As we continue the exciting work of transitioning into the newly unified Rockland Central School District, we are launching one of the most visible and meaningful parts of this journey—selecting our new school colors, mascot, and logos.

To guide this important process, we are forming a Branding Work Group composed of students, staff, parents, alumni, board members, and community representatives from both Livingston Manor and Roscoe.

🎨 What Will the Branding Work Group Do?

  • Facilitate community input and feedback

  • Review ideas and options for school colors, mascots, and logos

  • Collaborate with a design partner and consulting team

  • Help recommend final branding elements to the Board of Education

📅 First Meeting:  Wednesday, May 28, 2025
🕕 6:00 PM
📍 Livingston Manor Auditorium

✅ How to Get Involved:

If you're interested in serving on the Branding Work Group, please submit your name by Tuesday, May 27 at 12:00 PM using the form:🔗 Submit Your Interest Here

Or contact:  📞 Marlyn Peters, District Clerk — 845-439-4400 ext. 1201

        📧 Marlyn.Peters@LMCS.us

🔄 Selection Process:

We anticipate strong interest and will select participants through a randomized process within each stakeholder category (e.g., students, staff, families) to ensure balanced representation across both school communities.  If you are selected, you will be notified on the afternoon of May 27.

We are excited to launch this next phase of Rockland CSD’s identity—and we hope you’ll consider being part of it.

With appreciation,

John Evans, Superintendent

Rockland Central School District
