The Roscoe Central School Board of Education, administration, faculty and staff are extremely proud to announce the names of the valedictorian and salutatorian for the graduating Class of 2023. The valedictorian is Jacqueline Lambe, daughter of Joseph and Carmel Lambe. The salutatorian is Kansas Miner, daughter of Matthew and Emily Miner.

 Jacqueline Lambe is the valedictorian of the Roscoe Central School Class of 2023. Throughout high school Jacqueline has been actively involved in the Roscoe school and community.  Some of her notable school activities and honors include Student Government President, National Honor Society Member, RCS Merger Committee Student Member, Superintendent’s Honor Roll, the NYS Regents Award for Academic Excellence, HOBY and the DAR Good Citizen Award.  Jacqueline is very active outside of school as well, volunteering at Kiwanis functions and the Good Shepherd Food Pantry and working part time at the Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Upon graduation, Jacqueline will be attending the University at Buffalo to study cognitive science.

 Kansas Miner has earned the distinction of salutatorian for the RCS Class of 2023.  Kansas is class president, president of National Honor Society, Student Government representative and her academic accolades include Superintendent’s Honor Roll and the NYS Regents Award for Academic Achievement. Outside of school Kansas participates in basketball, volunteers at the Good Shepherd Food Pantry, interned for Sullivan Renaissance and works at the Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as a CNA. Kansas will be attending Hartwick College to study nursing.
